I've been around fashion my entire life, and it's - literally - in my blood.
Hi there! I'M ROBIN & I'M SO HAPPY YOU FOUND ME.
My grandmother, mother, and aunt all owned boutiques.
And I come from a long line of master tailors.
From my first buying trip alongside my grandmother for her boutique at age six, I was captivated by the fashion industry and everything beautiful. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I worked in the family business and spent my free time people-watching on the bustling city streets. I was always fascinated by how people express themselves through fashion and personal style.
Fast-forward to my 20s: During my senior year in college, I was offered my first corporate fashion job as an international product developer for a major fashion label.
This led to multiple full-time positions as an executive department store buyer, magazine fashion director, and more. I enjoyed a successful 13-year career working for others, but I always knew it was in my destiny to run my own business.
Sixteen years ago, I founded Polished Image and Style, the leading image consulting firm in Washington, DC, to grow my family and continue working in the industry I love. I have enjoyed every step of the process and am committed to teaching women how to start and grow their very own successful styling businesses.
